Step 2: Get Pre-Approved
Once you are ready to move forward, you will need to get pre-approved for Financing and Down Payment Assistance. Pre-approvals are time-sensitive, so please DO NOT proceed with pre-approval until you are ready to move in the next 1-3 months.
This is the most important step to take today if you are ready to move forward. It’s a good idea to get familiar with the market, but you cannot narrow down which homes to concentrate on until you know what funding you will qualify for.
